PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTION STATEMENT

  1. From time to time, it is necessary for goods suppliers and service providers to supply the Hong Kong Housing Authority ("HKHA") with data in connection with the administration of HKHA Lists.
  2. Failure to supply such data may result in the HKHA being unable to assess the eligibility for tender award or the eligibility to be selected to tender for HKHA contracts.
  3. The purposes for which data relating to a goods supplier or service provider may be used are as follows:
    1. Processing of admission onto HKHA Lists;
    2. Verification of listing criteria;
    3. Change of listing status;
    4. Checking of workload;
    5. Checking of eligibility for tendering;
    6. Monitoring of performance; and
    7. Other purposes relating thereto.
  4. The Housing Department is committed to ensuring that all personal data are handled in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Please refer to the Statement of Privacy Policy and Practices for detailed information.
